About

Dorian R. Glover has been a New York attorney since 1998. He has represented hundreds of people in the courts of New York in all types of civil and criminal proceedings from misdemeanors to homicide offenses. He received the 2012 Director of the year award in recognition for his dedication and excellent work as Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Judiciary Committee.


In 2014, Dorian was appointed by the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department as a member to the Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District. Additionally, in recognition of untiring dedication as Co-Chair of the Association Membership he received the Director of the Year Award.

In 2015 and 2016, Dorian was appointed by the Nassau County Bar Association as a Delegate to the New York State Bar Association.
Dorian is a Prince Hall Mason elected to leadership positions within the Grand Lodge culminating with his ascension to the highest ranking office as he was elected the 56th Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York in 2012 and was re-elected in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

In June of this year, Mayor Wayne Hall and Village Trustees of the Village of Hempstead, Renamed William Street located between Jerusalem & Front, “Dorian R. Glover Way.” Quoting Newsday, “This honor isn’t pedestrian. Masonic Grand Master Dorian R. Glover, in line to become the second African American President of the Nassau County Bar Association in it’s 117-year history.”
